It is with the deepest regret that we announce the passing of one of our staunchest members. Graeme “Walrus” Ryan passed away at 6.20 pm on Friday 28th March. “Walrus” was a 10 year member of the Ulysses Club and one of our Westgate Wanderers Branch foundation members.
“Walrus” had battled cancer for a short while and was once given the all clear. However, it soon returned and cut short the life of a man who believed in living his life to the fullest. We know that he fought the good fight, but eventually surrendered to find peace.
On behalf of President Bubba, the Committee of Westgate Wanderers, all members of the Ulysses Club we extend our deepest sympathy to “Walrus’s” partner and family and to let them know that our thoughts are with them in this sad period.

Hi all and another month leaves us as I sit here typing my thoughts I can hear the rain on the roof above me, summer has gone winter is coming but we still have a couple of months of good riding still to come
One more month as a single man.
Not a lot to say this month I have been busy at work so not doing much else socially. Having said that I would like to thank the entire member's that braved the heat and turned out for the Weerama parade the other week.
With the cooler months approaching and some of us putting the bike away for winter due to wet roads and rain I cannot emphasize how beneficial Ali and I have found our newly fitted UHF radios and headsets to our bikes as far as ride safety and just general chat as you are cruising along they really make a big difference and it's so much safer when you can call back road conditions to the rider following weather
it's just a bit of leaf litter to a corner covered in gravel from a recent heavy rain or just to let them know you are stopping they are great.
That’s all from me this month ride safe and keeps the rubber on the road.
Regards
Bubba
WHAT A NIGHT!
On Saturday, March 15, members gathered at the Jade Stream Chow Shop for a night of fun and frolics at what is now, our annual night of feasting, mayhem and merriment.
Needless to say, a few members carved their names into Branch history with their antics.
Here are some pictures of the night showing some of our member’s disgraceful behavior

An Indian Mystery
Finally
someone has cleared this up for me ...
For centuries, Hindu
women have worn a dot on their foreheads. Most of us have naively
thought this was connected with marriage or religion, but the Indian
Embassy in Canberra has recently revealed the true story.
When
a Hindu woman gets married, she brings a dowry into the union. On
her wedding night, the husband scratches off the dot to see whether
he has won a Convenience Store, a Service Station, a Kebab Shop or a
Takeaway Cafe in Australia.
If there is nothing there, he
must take a job in India answering telephones giving technical
advice to Telstra and Optus customers who live in Australia.
