Elections are coming up

Our Branch year is fast coming to a close and that signals the

oncoming Annual General Meeting and with it the election of

new Committee members.

The Constitution of Ulysses states that all positions become va-

cant and that any financial member is eligible to be nominated for

either a specific position, i.e. President, Secretary and Treasurer

or general committee position.

Traditionally the committee of the Westgate Wanderers has been

comprised of up to eight members filling the following positions:

Secretary

•

Treasurer

•

Web Master

•

Ride co-ordinator

•

Social co-ordinator

•

Newsletter Editor

•

Quartermaster

Our Annual General Meeting is scheduled to be held on Wednes-

day 9th May 2007.

The format on the night will be that our usual May meeting will

be held by the incumbent committee and then be followed by the

AGM.

All members are encouraged to consider running for the Commit-

tee and it would be great if we had some female members willing

to be amongst the candidates. So, please consider this matter and

if you’re unsure about the role and what it entails, please feel free

to speak to any of the current committee.

Nominations forms are available from Secretary Chris and will

shortly be posted onto our website.
